This cream cherry cake spread from the early 1930s from Germany in the first place. We now make it in Hungary with a slight alteration, traditionally with sour cherry. Our pastry-cooks too fill the cake with alternative layers of sour cherry, vanilla and chocolate mousse – the innovation is that we make it in a sugar-free version, coated with a chocolate dressing.
